The Great New York Ramen Tour
What-up Noodle-philes!
The main goal of this tour is to definitively rank all the ramen joints in NYC, and eat as much ramen as humanly possible. Duh! Ramen is my main comfort food as of late, and I can eat it on the coldest and hottest of days. Yes even when it's 100 degrees out! Like any other restaurant genre, I have my favorites and go-to's. But who, in NYC, has the best ramen? Ryan, myself, and a group of friends made a list of 30+ places. We are going to rate them on broth, noodles, and toppings (Egg / Meat / Scallions...). When the tour is over, We will tell you what our group of ramen lovers think is the best ramen in NYC, and publish the ultimate ramen rankings. Every week along the way, We'll be posting a new review, and let you know if you should check it out...or if it sucks.
You may ask, who gives a shit what you think? You aren't a reputable source. I beg to differ. We eat A LOT of ramen. I wake up in the morning, roll over, look at Ryan, and talk about ramen before he is even awake. I have dreamed about it. I talk about it all the damn time. Friends of mine call me when they want to try a new ramen place. I am your ramen girl.
On the tour, we are hitting up some of the obvious contenders like Momofuku, Ivan Ramen, Totto (my current favorite), and Ippudo (one of my least favorite...) and then some not so popular ones like Minca (my other favorite), Chuko, Bassanova Ramen, and many many more. Keep a look out for our first review of Mu Ramen!
